Built for the daily work of running your business

We make the work work.

Leversmith is the fractional AI team for small businesses. Like a blacksmith at the forge, we shape AI agents into tools your operation actually uses. Two to three shipped in fourteen days, tuned every month, sturdy enough to run for years. Not flashy. The reps add up.

The lane between DIY tools and a senior hire.

Most owners we talk to have already tried two or three things. The cheap stuff didn't ship. The expensive stuff wasn't worth it. Leversmith is the productized middle: a real team, working on your operation, billed monthly like any other vendor.

The DIY end

$50–500/mo tools, prompts, freelancers

Cheap and accessible, but you have to know exactly what to build, integrate it yourself, and own every problem. Most owners give up before anything reaches production.

The Leversmith lane

$895–2,995/mo setup free for a limited time

Two weeks of onboarding ships your first agents. Then a real team handles tuning, reporting, and quarterly upgrades on a fixed monthly retainer.

The hire end

$120K+/yr plus benefits, equity, ramp time

Hiring an AI lead takes 6 to 12 months and saddles you with one person's perspective. Leversmith delivers in weeks, costs less per year, and brings a whole team's reps.

Pick the tier that fits how much AI you want running.

One-time setup gets your agents shipped. Monthly retainer keeps them tuned, reported on, and growing. No hidden hours. No surprise invoices. Cancel any time after the first six months.

Limited-time launch offer: setup is free on every tier.

The 14-day onboarding, day by day.

Every client follows the same path. Standardized so we ship on time. Here's what the two weeks look like.

Day 0–1

Welcome & intake.

You receive a welcome packet, onboarding portal access, and a short intake survey. We schedule your kickoff call for day 3, and you start thinking through what your first agent should be.

Welcome packet · Portal access
Day 3

60-minute kickoff call.

Senior implementation lead and your account contact walk through the workflows. We confirm the data sources, lock the scope, and agree on the metrics we'll use to grade success in 90 days.

Workflow doc · KPI agreement
Day 4–6

Plumbing.

Tool integrations get wired. CRM, email, scheduling, voice, whatever your agents need to read and write. We work in your tenant, not ours. You hold the keys.

Integrations live · Auth verified
Day 7–9

Agent 1 build.

First agent built around your operation and your data. Evaluated against a held-out sample of your real workflows. By Friday it's behaving the way you'd want.

Agent 1 in staging · Eval scorecard
Day 10–12

Review, tune, build agent 2.

You review Agent 1, tell us what to adjust, we adjust. Agent 2 enters build. By Friday, Agent 1 is ready for production traffic and Agent 2 is in your hands for a final review.

Agent 1 production-ready · Agent 2 in staging
Day 13

Operator training.

One-hour session with you and your key staff. Recorded for the team. We hand over runbooks, dashboards, and an escalation path.

Runbooks delivered · Training recorded
Day 14

Go-live.

Both agents in production. Your AI ops associate watches the first week of traffic alongside you. Monthly retainer kicks off.

Live in production · Retainer begins

What you get every month after that.

The retainer isn't access. It's a real team doing real work on your operation every month. Here's what lands in your inbox between days 30 and 365.

Performance dashboard, monthly

Auto-delivered the first business day of every month. Agent uptime, accuracy, hours saved, dollar impact, and the KPI delta vs your onboarding baseline. No spreadsheet wrangling required.

Tuning call, monthly (Growth/Pro)

Thirty minutes with your AI ops associate to review the dashboard, surface anomalies, and decide what to adjust. Owner-led conversation, not a status meeting. We come with the answers, not the questions.

New agent or major upgrade, quarterly

Once a quarter we ship a fresh agent into your operation, or perform a major upgrade on an existing one. Scoped 30 days in advance. Built and shipped inside the quarter. No new bill.

Ad-hoc support, anytime

Up to four hours a month on Growth, eight on Pro. For the inevitable "this agent did something weird, can you help" requests.

How small businesses are using AI agents.

Real ways the businesses we work with are putting AI agents to work right now. Pick the ones that look closest to your operation. We'll customize them to fit. Sometimes that's a small tweak. Sometimes a full custom build. And if your need is something completely different, we'll forge it from scratch.

Knowledge agent

Trained on your SOPs, employee handbook, and FAQs. Your team asks it questions instead of asking you. Answers cite the source.

5+ owner hours/wk reclaimed

Recruiting screener

Resume parse, structured intake call with each candidate, ranked output against your rubric. Recruiter spends time on interviews, not triage.

3x candidate throughput

KPI digest

Pulls the week's numbers from your source systems. Drafts a Monday-morning digest with anomalies flagged. You read it with coffee.

5 hrs/wk per leader

Social content drafter

Drafts platform-native posts in your voice from a content theme list. Schedules to a queue. Owner approves a week's worth in 10 minutes.

Built on Claude Cowork. We don't hide the engine.

The agents we ship run on Claude Cowork, Anthropic's agentic AI for real work, and we think you should know exactly what's doing the lifting.

Cowork launched in January 2026. It took the technology behind Claude Code, the AI agent that changed how software gets written, and pointed it at everyday business work instead of code. The difference matters. Most AI tools answer questions in a chat window. Cowork does the work. You point it at your files, your tools, and a goal, and it plans the steps, does them, checks its own output, and hands back something finished. It asks before it touches an app, and you can watch every move and stop it anytime.

That's the shift. For years, the AI that could actually run a business process was locked behind engineers and six-figure budgets. Cowork puts that same capability within reach of a home-services operator, an accounting firm, or a twelve-person agency, with no code and no engineering team. Work that used to require a hire now needs a well-built agent.

Here's the honest part: Cowork is the tool, not the outcome. A powerful tool in untrained hands still sits idle. What you pay Leversmith for is the craft. Choosing the right work to automate, building the agent around your actual operation, wiring it into your systems, and tuning it month after month so it keeps earning its keep. We bring the forge and the skilled hands. Cowork is the steel.

Honest comparison to the alternatives.

Every option below has a real use case. We exist because the most common need (working agents in production, run by a team you don't have to manage) wasn't being served well by anything else.

Who Leversmith is for. And who it isn't, yet.

We would rather be honest up front than sell you something that will not fit. Here is how to tell which side of the line you are on.

A fit if
  • You can name the work. One painful, repetitive workflow you could describe in two minutes. If you can name it, we can probably build an agent for it.
  • You are already paying for it. Marketing, software seats, a virtual assistant, an answering service, an outside agency. The spend is there; the leverage is not.
  • Established, not enormous. Usually $1M to $15M in revenue with a team of 5 to 75. Big enough to feel the pain, small enough to move fast.
  • You can decide quickly. Calls get made by you or a tight leadership team. No committee, no six-month procurement cycle. When something works, you can say yes this week.
Not for you yet if
  • You are under $1M or pre-revenue. You need a tool you can run yourself, not a team to build and operate one. Come back when the repetitive work is costing real money.
  • You are in a heavily regulated space. HIPAA-covered clinical practices and FINRA or SEC-regulated firms need a compliance posture we have not built yet. We will not pretend otherwise.
  • You are a young, tech-forward startup. If your team will happily build this in-house, you should. You will have more fun doing it yourself.
  • You want custom software. Leversmith ships working agents, not app development. If you need a product built from scratch, we are not the shop.

Not sure which side you are on? Tell us the workflow that is eating your week and we will tell you straight whether we can help. Book a free call.

About Leversmith

The craft of leverage.

Same lineage as the blacksmith, the wordsmith, the locksmith. Smiths take raw material and skilled hands and shape it into something more useful than what they started with. A blacksmith forges iron into tools. A wordsmith forges language into sentences that land. We forge AI into the agents that run a small business, owner by owner, with skilled hands and patient reps.

Leversmith came out of fifteen years of running operations for hundreds of small businesses. The founding observation: every owner we worked with was overspending on tooling and underspending on actually shipping. The cheap end of the market couldn't ship. The expensive end wouldn't.

Leversmith exists to be the productized middle. Fixed setup. Predictable monthly bill. A real team running your AI for you. Not flashy. Sturdy. The reps add up.

Most AI vendors sell intelligence. Leversmith sells leverage applied skillfully. The small force that moves the heavy work. Leversmith charter, April 2026

Frequently asked.

The questions every owner brings to a first call. If yours isn't here, ask it on the fit call. Honest answers, no jargon.

How do I know if Leversmith is right for my business?
The clearest signal is one painful, repetitive workflow you can describe in two minutes that you are already spending real money on, whether that is marketing, software seats, a virtual assistant, an answering service, or an outside agency. Most of our clients are $1M to $15M in revenue, 5 to 75 people, owner-led, and able to decide without a committee. We are not the right fit yet for businesses under $1M, HIPAA-covered or FINRA/SEC-regulated firms, young tech-forward startups that would rather build it themselves, or anyone wanting custom software built from scratch. Not sure where you land? Bring the workflow to a fit call and we will tell you straight.
Where do the agents live? Are we tied to Leversmith?
Inside your tenant from day one. We build on agentic runtimes that you control. You hold the keys, you own the prompts, you own the data flows. We deliver runbooks and tuning guides so you (or a future hire) can operate the agents after we leave. No vendor lock to Leversmith.
Is this complicated to set up on our end?
The owner spends about three hours total during the 14-day onboarding: the kickoff call, two short review sessions, and the final training. The rest is on us. Most clients are surprised how little of their time we ask for. We're already optimized for owners who don't have time to project-manage a vendor.
Why not just hire someone in-house?
Eventually you might. But hiring an AI-fluent operator in 2026 takes 6 to 12 months and runs $120-180K loaded. Leversmith ships your first 2-3 production agents while you're still drafting the job description, costs less than a third of that for the year, and brings a whole team's reps not one person's perspective. Many of our clients hire one internal AI lead in year two and use Leversmith-shipped agents as the onboarding material.
What if my industry isn't on your list?
Bring it to the fit call. The library transfers across most service businesses. We've focused first on professional services, home services, multi-location consumer services, marketing agencies, and real estate, but we've shipped successful agents into manufacturing, distribution, and others. We are intentionally not taking clinical healthcare, government, or HFT engagements yet because the compliance posture for those takes a different stack.
How do you protect our data?
Mutual NDA before the first deep conversation. Standard MSA with limitation of liability and confidentiality clauses. Build happens inside your tenant against your access controls, not ours. We carry $4M E&O insurance and can name your business as additionally insured for the engagement period. SOC 2 Type 1 expected by Q4 2026; Type 2 in 2027.
What's actually in the monthly retainer?
Tuning and uptime monitoring of every shipped agent, the monthly performance dashboard, the monthly tuning call (Growth and Pro), one new agent or major upgrade per quarter at no extra fee, ad-hoc operator support hours (4 on Growth, 8 on Pro), and a quarterly business review. The Pro tier adds a dedicated AI ops associate and a Slack channel for same-day questions.
Do these agents need maintenance, or is it set-and-forget?
Honest answer: they need looking after, and that's exactly what the retainer is for. Claude Cowork and the skills we build on top of it give you real leverage. A few well-built agents can carry the load of several hires. But leverage comes with moving parts. Data sources change, tools get updated, your business shifts, and an agent that ran perfectly in March can need a tune-up by June. Some of those fixes are quick. Some get genuinely technical, the kind of under-the-hood work no owner wants to spend a week on. That's why we're here. We watch the agents, catch problems before you feel them, handle the technical upkeep, and adjust as your operation grows. You get all the leverage without becoming the person who keeps it running. You run the business. We keep the engine tuned.
Can we start with one agent and add more later?
Yes. Starter ships one agent at onboarding. Growth and Pro ship two and three. Every tier earns a new agent each quarter as part of the retainer, and you can add a custom one-off agent at any time. Most clients start at Growth, end up with 5-7 agents by month nine, and upgrade to Pro at year-end.
What happens if it doesn't work?
Cancel after the six-month minimum and walk away. The agents stay live in your tenant. The runbooks and training videos stay yours. We keep the setup fee (it covers the labor of standing everything up). You don't owe another monthly invoice. Most clients renew, but we don't lock you in to make that happen.
